ASHRAE UK Midlands - MSc Student Paper Competition with Guest Speakers
Our two guest for this full day event with lunch are:
Adam Taylor - Well Air “Indoor Air Quality – Regulations and solutions for improvement” The importance of air quality has recently gained the attention of the public, but guidance on when and how building services engineers need to address the issue is still lacking. This talk aims to give attendees an overview of the issue, to examine existing and emerging guidance and to review solutions available to tackle the problem.
Martin Ronceray - BSRIA “Soft Landing - Delivering buildings that meet end users’ needs” This interactive presentation will provide the audience with some of the fundamentals behind the Soft Landings approach and an insight on how to achieve the design and construction of a building that actually works well for the occupants and performs as intended.
Both speakers will be joined by our shortlisted finalists of our Open MSc Student Paper Competition. The competition is open to all students from any University with a top prize worth £700 to travel to ASHRAE 2020 Winter Conference in Orlando, Florida.
